Airfares for the Argus Cycle Tour

Cape Town will be hosting the annual Cape Argus Cycle Tour on Sunday the 11th March. The Argus begins in Hertzog Boulevard located in the City Centre and ends on the Western Boulevard in Greenpoint. The race is a total of 110kms. Whether you are participating in the race or just supporting from the side lines, the Argus always turns out to be a fun day.

The race has made airfares soar with the cheapest being Velevt Sky for R1 300. If you have not already booked your ticket to Cape Town for the race, I suggest you do so as some of the airlines already have certain time slots sold out and others are selling out fast for the 9th March. This week we looked at flights between Durban and Cape Town, departing on Friday the 9th of March 2012 between 13h49 and 21h46. All prices are subject to change without notice at the discretion of their providers and availability cannot be guaranteed by us.

City to City is offering the cheapest trip to Cape Town at R460. The overland trips have not increased too much for the race on the 11th March. Intercape has opened a new stop in Bellville. The bus will stop at the bus rank in Mabel Street, behind the Bathroom Bizarre. Unfortunately the Shosholoza Meyl train route is still not ready to be opened. There is no news of when this route will be up and running for 2012.
