At around 0930, a Translux bus goes off the N2 down a 30m embankment at Izingolweni near Port Shepstone in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. Seven female passengers and the male driver were injured, and taken to Margate Private Hospital and Kokstad Provincial Hospital.

i have a problem with the way your(city to city & translux)drivers treat passengers in the busses and with the conditions of those busses because they breakdown in the middle of nowhere and we have to wait hours for a mechanic who wont even be able to fix it and that results in us missing important appointments.i would really appreciate if something could be done about this.

I find it really frustrating to see how many people have complained about the telephones not being answered, and nobody at Translux is doing anything about it. I spent 2 hours waiting for someone to answer. This is unacceptable. Yet management at Translux doesnt even bother to read the complaints and do something about it. Its very frustrating to know that they dont really care about the customers satisfation.

Greetings to all. Sorry to be a Party Pooper, but I would like to state that my last trip from Klerksdorp to Cape Town was far from satisfactory. Not only was the bus late upon departing, but also failed to meet it's deadline, by arriving 3 & a Quarter hours late. That sought of time frame is unacceptable. The young lady who sat next to me, had been on since Pretoria. She therefore spent 22 hours riding this shithole. However, it was'nt the time frame that was the most inconvnient factor. The Heaters were kept on all day & night. This made sleeping extremely difficult, and I think that there was actually a point where I was sweating blood. I don't know why you people have TVs & a radio on board, if nobody has the intellict to get them to work. All in all, this trip was tremendously uncomfortable, and if it were'nt for interesting conversation with a fellow passenger, then I would have probably taken my own life.
