In this week's survey, we compared prices for the Women's Day long weekend on the Durban to Johannesburg route. Kulula continued to offer the cheapest airfares. Choosing to fly into Lanseria Airport as opposed to OR Tambo Airport, was the more affordable option. The overland prices have decreased slightly since the last survey of this route, but Shosholoza Meyl continued to display the cheapest land-travel fare. Car Trawler came out on top with vehicle rental prices at OR Tambo Airport. (All prices may change, perhaps even by the time you read this).
If you're looking for something to do in Jo'burg during the long weekend, make your way to Gallagher Estate in Midrand, where you will be able to experience Decorex Joburg, South Africa's biggest exhibition of interior design. The expo takes place from the 8th - 12th August and entry will cost R75 per adult.

Car Trawler is the cheapest car rental from OR Tambo
Car Trawler came out with the best rental prices when we priced the cost of renting a car from OR Tambo International Airport from 21h00 on Friday the 10th August 2012 until 13h00 on Sunday the 12th August 2012. Here are our findings:
