If you enjoy taking part in marathons that are not too advanced, then the Slow Mag Marathon and Half Marathon is for you. The marathon takes place in Benoni and the run is through the suburbs. It is a scenic route designed to show off the sights of Benoni, as it passes 5 lakes, a bird sanctuary and several parks. This race is taking place on Sunday the 15th April 2012.
If you are travelling to Johannesburg over the weekend of the 13th, the cheapest one-way flight is with Mango Airline. Velvet Sky flights are still suspended. Shosholoza Meyl have increased their prices for April for economy class, toursit class as well as premier classe.
