The 14th annual Cape Town International Jazz Festival will be taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on the 5th and 6th of April 2013. The event will host shows from a variety of jazz acts and visitors will have the chance to participate in workshops held over the two days. A variety of ticket options are available starting from R440 to R645 per person.
Flights to Cape Town to get to the festival are selling out fast, and we have seen an increase in flight prices since the last survey done on this route. When we checked, Kulula's 8pm flight from Lanseria Airport was the cheapest option at R1 711 for a one way flight (please note that prices will change). Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train fare has remained constant, while the bus fares have increased since the last survey. Cheapest car hire at Cape Town Airport
We compared the prices of car hire at Cape Town International Airport from 21h00 on Friday the 5th of April 2013 until 13h00 on Sunday the 7th of April 2013. Car Trawler offered the cheapest rates with a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R340 , including 200 km's per day. (Please note prices are subject to change).
