This week, we compared the prices of flights and overland travel from Cape Town to Johannesburg for the 21st of December 2012. With Mango's sale introduced on this route, flights from Cape Town to OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg were the cheapest option. Shosholoza Meyl's tourist class train is sold out for the holiday season, but the economy class was still available on this route when we checked. Car Trawler offered the most affordable rates to hire a car in Johannesburg at R335 for two day's rental of a Kia Picanto.

Abba fans will get a chance to relive the seventies when they watch Australia's number one selling show at the Silverstar Theatre. The Abba impersonators will be performing "Thank you for the Music" from the 14th to the 31st of December and tickets are on sale at R190 per person from Computicket.

Car Trawler is cheapest car rental at Johannesburg Airport
Car Trawler offered the best rates when we compared the prices of car hire from OR Tambo International Airport from 21h00 on Friday the 1st of February 2013 until 13h00 on Sunday the 3rd of February 2013. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar at R340 for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
