If you love relaxing with a glass of divine wine, the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show 2012 is an event not to be missed. The winners of the trophy, gold and silver categories will have their winning wines displayed for the public and open for tastings. The event is on the 15th June at the CTICC from 17h00 to 20h30. The entrance is R120pp but includes the wine glass and unlimited tastings. Tickets are available at Computicket.
The economy class prices on the Johannesburg to Cape Town route have decreased slightly since the last survey when we saw British Airways having the cheapest airfare. The business class prices have increased for both South African Airways and British Airways since the last survey. As of June on this route, Shosholoza Meyl will be splitting up the classes onto two different trains. The economy class train will run every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The tourist class train will run every Tuesday and Thursday.
Our survey below compares prices of one-way flights, coach trips and train trips from Johannesburg to Cape Town on Friday the 15th of June, leaving Johannesburg after 18h19 but before 20h36.
