In this week's survey, we compared the prices of travel from Durban to Cape Town on the last weekend of the school holidays. The cheapest one way flight on this route was offered by British Airways operated by Comair with a price of R1 198 per person (prices will change). Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train fare was R500 per person when we checked, but passengers will need to travel via Johannesburg. For direct trips, passengers can opt for a bus trip with Citiliner, who offered a one way bus trip at R700 per person (prices will change). If you are looking at hiring a vehicle in Cape Town, you can expect to pay R375 for a Citroen C1 or similar. Please note that all prices could change.

Citroen C1 cheapest car rental at Cape Town Airport
This week we surveyed the prices of car rental at Cape Town Airport with pick up at 21h00 on Friday the 10th of January 2014 and drop off at 13h00 on Sunday the 12th of January 2014. The cheapest option we found was R375 for a Citroen C1 or similar for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
