Robertson Wine on the River Flights

Take a drive from Cape Town to the scenic Robertson wine valley for the annual Robertson Wine on the River festival. Come and taste over 300 of the region's best wines on the banks of the Breede River. Visitors can also expect live music, arts and crafts markets, and tastings of cheese, olives, coffee, chocolate and nougat as well as wine. Tickets for the full weekend pass can be bought from R160 per person.

DUR to CPT prices

In this week's survey we looked at the costs of travel from Durban to Cape Town. The cheapest flight we found was offered by Mango with a one way flight at R1 125 per person when we checked (prices will change). The bus and train prices remained stable since the last survey done on this route. City to City's bus was the most affordable option when we checked, with a one way trip from Durban to Cape Town costing R490 per person (prices will change). Car Trawler cheapest car rental at Cape Town Airport

This week we surveyed the prices of car hire in Cape Town with pick up at 21h00 on Friday the 18th of October 2013 and drop off at 13h00 on Sunday the 20th of October 2013. The cheapest option we found was R380 for a Kia Picanto or similar for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
