Flights to Franschhoek Uncorked |

Celebrate the beginning of spring at the Franschhoek Uncorked festival which will take place from the 7th to the 8th of September 2013 at the Franschhoek Wine Valley. A number of wine farms in the region will showcase their best wines for visitors to enjoy during the first weekend of spring 2013. Tickets are on sale for R120 per person for the full weekend pass.
DUR to CPT prices
Mango offered the cheapest flight we found when we compared the prices of travel fom Durban to Cape Town. Mango Airline's Friday afternoon flight was R1 177 for the one way trip when we checked (prices may change). The cheapest option for those who prefer to travel by land was R490 for a one way bus trip with Citiliner (prices will change). If you need to drive yourself to Franschhoek for the Uncorked festival, be sure to check the car hire prices offered by Car Trawler, who were the cheapest when we checked.

Car Trawler is cheapest in Cape Town
This week we surveyed the prices of car rental at Cape Town International Airport with pick up at 21h00 on Friday the 6th of September 2013 and drop off at 13h00 on Sunday the 8th of September 2013. The cheapest option we found was R340 for a Citroen C1 or similar for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
