Consistent with the last survey done on this route, Kulula from Lanseria proved to be the cheapest option for air travel from Johannesburg to Cape Town. A one way flight from Lanseria Airport to Cape Town International was R878 with Kulula at the time this survey was done (prices may change). Bus fares have increased this week on this popular travel route, and Shosholoza Meyl still offers the cheapest option at R340 for an economy train trip. The Robertson Wine on the River festival takes place on the banks of the Breede River from the 19th to the 21st of October 2012. We priced the cost of renting a car from Cape Town International Airport from 21h00 on Friday the 19th of October 2012 until 13h00 on Sunday the 21st of October 2012.
