In this week's survey, 1Time displayed the cheapest airfares on the Cape Town to Durban route, with their afternoon flight at a price of R999. (Prices will change). Shosholoza Meyl still showed the best option for overland travel on their Cape Town to Durban train that travels via Johannesburg. We priced the cost of renting a car from King Shaka International Airport from 21h00 on Friday the 14th of September 2012 until 13h00 on Sunday the 16th of September 2012. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar at R335 for the weekend's rental (R167.50 per day). (Prices can change).
