In May 2025 we compared the rates of travel from Joburg to Cape Town. The cheapest option was offered by Eagle Liner at R555 per person for the one way trip; but the most comfy intercity bus from Johannesburg to Cape Town is Intercape from R620. . Please note that all prices could change.

This week we compared the rates for car hire at Cape Town Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 10h00 on he 28th of October until 10h00 on the 29th of October 2025. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R618 (Please note prices are subject to change).
