Cape Town to Johannesburg travel

In this week's survey we compared the options for land travel from Cape Town to Johannesburg for the Hobby-X Midrand. The cheapest mode of transport was train travel with Shosholoza Meyl's economy class coupe at R440 per person for the one way trip. For those who prefer to travel by coach, we found that Eldo Coaches offered the best rates. If you would like to rent a car from OR Tambo Airport, have a look at Bidvest's prices as they were the cheapest when we checked.

Chevrolet Spark is cheapest vehicle rental at OR Tambo Airport

This week we compared the prices of car hire at Johannesburg Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Bidvest Car Rental when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 7th of October 2016 until 13h00 on Sunday the 9th of October 2016. Bidvest Car Rental offered a Chevy Spark or similar for this period at R524 (Please note prices are subject to change).
