Celebrate all things 'beach' at the Durban Spring Break Festival taking place at Blue Lagoon Beach on Saturday the 24th of October 2015. The event will celebrate the start of warmer weather with a beach party, beach sports and beach fashion as well as music performed by the best local artists. Tickets can be purchased from R100 per person.

Cape Town to Durban Travel

This week, we compared the prices of travel from Cape Town to Durban for the Durban Spring Break Festival. The most affordable option was offered by Shosholoza Meyl with their economy class train at R590 per person per way when we checked. However, this option includes a stop over in Johannesburg, making the journey long. For the more convenient option, book a coach trip with Intercape who offered the best rates for a bus trip on this route, at R600 per person. Please note that all prices could change. Kia Picanto is cheapest car rental in Durban

This week we compared the prices of car hire at Durban Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 23rd of October until 13h00 on Sunday the 25th of October 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R386 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
