Make the most of the warm winters in Kwazulu Natal by heading to the sunny town of Umhlanga for the Food and Music Festival taking place at the Chris Saunders Park on Sunday the 2nd of August 2015. Enjoy a day filled with good food, wine, craft beer and live music. Tickets can be purchased for R150 per person.

Cape Town to Durban travel

This week, we compared the bus and train prices from Cape Town to Durban for the Umhlanga Food and Music Festival. The cheapest way to get to Durban was by train, with Shosholoza Meyl's economy class fare at R550 per person for the one way trip. To travel by coach, check Intercape's prices as they were the cheapest when we checked, at R600 per person for the one way trip (prices could change). If you are flying into King Shaka Airport and looking for car hire, have a look at Car Trawler's prices as they were the cheapest when we checked. Please note that all prices could change.

Kia Picanto is cheapest vehicle rental at Durban Airport

This week we compared the prices of car hire at King Shaka Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 31st of July 2015 until 13h00 on Sunday the 2nd of August 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R441 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
