Petrol heads who are in Gauteng on Sunday the 5th of July 2015 should head to the Johannesburg Expo Centre at Nasrec for the Classic Car Show 2015. The expo will showcase loads of classic cars and super cars, as well as live entertainment for adults and kids. Tickets can be purchased at R60 per person.

Cape Town to Johannesburg Travel

We compared the prices of travel from the Mother City to Jozi by bus and train. Once again Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train was the cheapest option for land travel between these two cities, at R400 per person (prices could change). Bus prices have seen a significant increase since the last comparison we did on this route, possibly because of the start of the June/July school holidays in both the coastal and inland provinces of South Africa. The cheapest bus fare was offered by City to City and Citiliner at R620 for the one way fare with both companies. For cheap car hire from OR Tambo Airport, search Car Trawler's prices. Kia Picanto is cheapest car rental from OR Tambo Airport

This week we compared the prices of vehicle hire in Johannesburg. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 3rd of July 2015 until 13h00 on Sunday the 5th of July 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R399 (Please note prices are subject to change).
