CPT to DUR-Shosholoza is cheapest

In this survey, we compared the prices of travel from Cape Town to Durban by bus and train. The cheapest method of travel that we found between the two cities was by train, with Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train fare at R550 per person when we checked (prices could change). Bus prices were slightly more expensive with the cheapest bus fare offered by Intercape at R590 per person (prices could change). However, according to our weekly surveys, bus prices have decreased on this route since the same time last year when the cheapest bus fare we found was R729 per person. If you are looking for cheap car hire in Durban, be sure to check Car Trawler as their weekend rental rates were the most affordable. Please note that all prices may change.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire at King Shaka Airport

This week we compared the prices of car rental in Durban. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 19th of June 2015 until 13h00 on Sunday the 21st of June 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R399 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
