In this week's bus and train price comparison, the cheapest was Shosholoza Meyl's train at R400 per person when we checked (prices could change). The most affordable bus price was offered by City to City with their one way fare at R550 when we checked (prices could change). If you would like to rent a car in Jozi, be sure to check Car Trawler's prices as they were the most affordable when we checked.

Events in Johannesburg

Head to The Globe at Silverstar Casino in Johannesburg for the SA Sweet and Snack Expo, taking place from the 22nd until the 24th of May 2015. Entrance is R80 per person and visitors can expect loads of tasty samples and competitions.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire in Johannesburg

This week we compared the prices of car rental at OR Tambo Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 22nd of May 2015 until 13h00 on Sunday the 24th of May 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R499 (Please note prices are subject to change).
