Travel to Durban Indaba

Durban will be the host city of Africa's top travel show this year - Indaba. The show will be held at Albert Luthuli Convention Centre in Durban from the 9th to the 11th of May 2015. A variety of Southern Africa's best tourism products will be exhibited, including accommodation, transport, tours, game lodges and online travel options. Local trade companies can resgister to attend from R604.

Cape Town to Durban travel

In this week's survey we compared the prices of travel from Cape Town to Durban for the Indaba Show. The cheapest option was offered by Shosholoza Meyl with a one way trip at R550 per person (prices could change). Bus prices have decreased significantly since the last survey done on this route, with an inflation rate of only 3% since the same time last year. The cheapest bus option was with Intercape on their journey via Bloemfontein at R590 when we checked (prices could change). Kia Picanto is cheapest vehicle rental in Durban

This week we compared the prices of car hire at Durban Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 8th of May 2015 until 13h00 on Sunday the 10th of May 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R499 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
