Shosholoza Meyl is cheapest to DUR

This week, we surveyed the travel prices for the Cape Town to Durban route. Shosholoza Meyl continued to be the most affordable travel option on the 27th of March 2015. The cheapest bus fare was offered by Intercape at R680 per person when we checked (prices will change). Bus prices have increased quite significantly since the last survey done on this route, possibly as the travel date is at the start of the school holidays. For those who would like to rent a vehicle from King Shaka Airport, have a look at Car Trawler's option, as they were the cheapest when we checked. Please note that all prices could change. Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire in Durban

This week we compared the prices of car hire at King Shaka Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 27th of March 2015 until 13h00 on Sunday the 29th of March 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R431 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
