SA Roadlink is cheapest to CPT

This week, we compared the prices of travel from Durban to Cape Town by bus and train. The cheapest option we found was offered by SA Roadlink with their one way bus trip at R299 per person (prices could change). Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train was the next cheapest option at R550 per person for the one way tip via Johannesburg (prices could change). For those who would like to rent a car while in the Mother City, the cheapest option we found for the weekend's rental was a Toyota Corolla or similar with Car Trawler. Please note that all prices will change.

Events in Cape Town

The annual Beaver Rally will be taking place in Montagu near Cape Town from the 31st of October until the 2nd of November 2014. This event is the longest consecutively running motorcycle rally in South Africa and has been going since 1980.

Toyota Corolla is cheapest car hire in Cape Town

This week we surveyed the prices of car rental at Cape Town Airport with pick up at 21h00 on Friday the 31st of October 2014 and drop off at 13h00 on Sunday the 2nd of November 2014. The cheapest option we found was R632 for a Toyota Corolla or similar for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
