Travel to Bierfest Sandton

The Joburg Bierfest will take place at Montecasino in Sandton from the 17th until the 19th of October 2014. The festival will resemble the famous Oktoberfest in Munich and visitors can expect to enjoy limited edition beers which have been brewed especially for the event, German Oompah bands, German food and loads of prizes for the best dressed.

Durban to Johannesburg Travel

In this week's survey we compared land travel options on the Durban to Johannesburg route. Shosholoza Meyl's train service was the cheapest option when we checked, with City to City the cheapest bus travel option on this route. For those who would like to rent a car in Johannesburg, the cheapest car that we found was a Kia Picanto or similar offered by Car Trawler. Please note that all prices could change.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire in Johannesburg

This week we compared the prices of car hire at Johannesburg Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 17th of October 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 19th of October 2014. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R423 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
