Amashova Durban Classic Travel

The Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic will take place on Sunday the 12th of October 2014. This gruelling cycle race will start in Pietermaritzburg and end in Durban following a similar route to that of the Comrades Marathon. Cyclists can choose between the 106km, 65km and 35km races taking place on the day.

Cape Town to Durban travel options

This week, we had a look at the prices of travel on land from Cape Town to Durban. The cheapest option was with Shosholoza Meyl at R550 per person for a one way trip via Johannesburg (prices could change). Citliner offered the cheapest bus travel option at R560 per person (prices could change). For those that would like to rent a car in Durban, be sure to book with Car Trawler as they offered the cheapest rates when we checked. Please note that all prices may change.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire in Durban

This week we compared the prices of car rental at Durban Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 10th of October 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 12th of October 2014. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R422 (Please note that prices are subject to change).
