CPT to JHB Shosholoza is cheapest

This week, we compared the prices of over land travel options from Cape Town to Johannesburg. As is most often the case on this route, Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train fares were the cheapest at R400 per person for the one way trip (prices may change). The cheapest bus fare was offered by Citiliner coach with a one way fare at R500 per person (prices could change). The cheapest car rental prices we found with pick up at OR Tambo Airport were Car Trawler's prices. Please note that all prices could change.

Events in Johannesburg

The 21st World Orchid Conference will be taking place in Johannesburg from the 10th until the 14th of September 2014. Visitors will able to see an exhibition of different types of orchids and other plants, as well as have the opportunity to buy some plants at the event. The conference will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire in Johannesburg

This week we compared the prices of vehicle hire at OR Tambo Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 12th of September 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 14th of September 2014. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R425 (Please note prices are subject to change).
