Intercape is cheapest DUR to CPT

As a result of Shosholoza Meyl's recent price increases, their train trip was no longer the cheapest land travel option on the Durban to Cape Town route when we checked. Intercape's one way bus trip to Cape Town via Bloemfontein was the cheapest option at R540 per person (prices will change). Events in Cape Town

The Robertson Slow Festival will take place in Robertson, 90 minutes drive away from Cape Town, from the 8th until the 10th of August 2014. Visitors to the festival will be welcomed into the town by all the region's winemaking families, allowing the opportunity to experience traditional Robertson Country Fare and taste the local wines of the region.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire in Cape Town

This week we surveyed the prices of car rental at Cape Town International Airport with pick up at 21h00 on Friday the 8th of August 2014 and drop off at 13h00 on Sunday the 10th of August 2014. The cheapest option we found was R351 for a Kia Picanto or similar for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
