Flights to the Hermanus Food and Wine Fair

The sleepy costal town of Hermanus will host the Hermanus Food and Wine Fair from Friday the 8th of August to Sunday the 10th of August 2014. The festival will celebrate and display the world-class wines that come from the Overberg region. Now in its 17th year this festival is fast becoming one of the most popular wine festivals in South Africa.

Over 50 wine producers will have more than 300 wines on display all of which will be available for tasting. A wine show is never complete without some great food. Local chefs and restaurants will have stands in the food court where you can taste some great local food, the most popular of which is the freshly served seafood. Live music from the Professors and Gypsy Jones will be beaming throughout the town over the weekend. Tickets cost R120pp for a single day pass or R250pp for a weekend pass. Ticket prices include a wine glass, wine tastings and an information booklet. The food marquee and children’s area can be accessed free of charge. Tickets can be bought at the door or online at Computicket.
