Travel to The Home Expo

The Home Expo will take place in the Centre Court of Emperor's Palace from the 2nd to the 4th of August 2014. The expo will have loads of inspiration for home owners and renovators as well as loads of giveaways and entertainment. Entrance to the expo costs R50 per adult.

Cape Town to Johannesburg travel

In this week's survey, we had a look at the prices of land travel from Cape Town to Johannesburg for the Home Expo. We found that Shosholoza Meyl offered the cheapest rates for travel with their economy class train at R400 per person for a one way ticket when we checked (prices will change). The cheapest coach fare was R500 per person offered by Citiliner (prices could change). Kia Picanto is cheapest car rental at OR Tambo Airport

This week we compared the prices of vehicle hire at Johannesburg Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 1st of August 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 3rd of August 2014. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R352 (Please note prices are subject to change).
