Durban Boat Show Travel |
18 July 2014 travel |
From the 18th until the 20th of July 2014, Durban will host its annual Durban International Boat and Leisure Show. The show will launch some new models into the market as well as showcase some of the most luxury boats that are currently on the market. The event will take place at the Boatman's Boulevard in Durban Marina from 09h30 until 17h00 and all those with an interest in boating of any kind should be sure not to miss this.
In this week's survey, we did a comparison of travel options from Cape Town to Durban. The cheapest we found was R500 for a one way trip between these two cities with Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train (prices may change). Bus prices were the more expensive option with Citiliner's coach at R660 for a one way trip when we checked (prices will change). Travellers may prefer to fork out this extra though, as the bus trip is more convenient that the train trip which involves a stop over and train change in Johannesburg. For car hire in Durban, drivers should check Car Trawler's prices as they were the most affordable when we checked. Please note that all prices will change. Have a look at our Cape Town to Durban flight price survey.
