Travel to the Highland Games

The annual Highland Games of South Africa will take place at the Glenburn Lodge in Muldersdrift on the 21st of June 2014. Visitors can expect to see bagpipe band competitions, scottish dancers, traditional tossing the caber competitions and food and beer tents.

Cape Town to Johannesburg travel

In this survey, we had a look at the land travel options available for travel from Cape Town to Johannesburg. The cheapest option we found was offered by Shosholoza Meyl with their economy class train fare at R430 per person for a one way fare (prices may change). For those who find the train journey long, SA Roadlink was the cheapest bus offered between the two cities with a one way trip at R499 per person (prices will change). Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire at Johannesburg Airport

This week we compared the prices of car rental at OR Tambo Airport. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 20th of June 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 22nd of June 2014. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R385 (Please note prices are subject to change).
