Maybe it's just because it's around a low-key match, but R238 a day seems VERY low for during the World Cup. In fact the only unusuals are Thrifty not offering vehicles except for a minimum of 3 days bookings and Avis having VERY high prices. [We compared the prices of renting a car from Durban King Shaka Airport from 13h00 on the 21st June 2010 until 13h00 on the 23rd June 2010] (note that car rental prices may have changed since we conducted this comparison, and that there are factors other than price that you should take into account; like free km and, charge per km and waivers) .
