Cheap SA Airlink Flights

Up to January 2006 known as SA Airlink, Airlink is a privately owned airline operating flights to and from the smaller towns in South Afri+ca. Although no longer part of an alliance with SAA & South African Express, its booking engine is completely integrated with them. Airlink aims to link the smaller towns within southern Africa.

Flight Reviews

  • Burger was returning to Johannesburg from Ndola on Airlink, when a tumour in his back started hurting. The alert Airlink air hostess (" a lovely lady with a lovely personality") noticed his discomfort and gave him a free upgrade to business class.

  • Bern took an SA Airlink flight from Durban to Maputo: "What contributed to my enjoyment of the flight was that it was on another cute little turbo propelled aircraft, this time a Jetstream 41. It only takes 29 people and there were only 11 on-board making it really comfy. Take-off was to the north-east so we had a lovely view of Durban and I couldn't help thinking as we flew over uShaka Marine World that that was the closest I have been to my office for a while! The disappointing part of the flight was that from just past Durban there was cloud cover all the way to Maputo so I didn't get to see the lovely KZN coast."
