The Pick n Pay Marathon and Half Marathon will take place in Senderwood, Bedfordview on Sunday the 9th of February 2014. The race has been ranked one of the 5 best marathon's in South Africa so this one is not to be missed by runners.
Commentator's Curse
Talk about commentators curse - earlier this week we said that Mango was cheapest 68% of the time, and it was as if Kulula heard this and decided to set the record straight! We compared the plane, bus, train and car rental prices on the Durban to Johannesburg travel route. We found Kulula DUR-JHB flights were cheapest with a one way trip to OR Tambo Airport costing only R532 when we checked (prices will change). Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train fare was R140 per person and City to City's coach trips proved to be the cheapest bus prices at R160 when we checked (all prices will change). For those looking to hire a car, you can expect to pay R385 for a weekend's car rental from OR Tambo Airport.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car rental at OR Tambo Airport
In this week's survey we compared the car hire prices in Johannesburg with pick up and drop off from 21h00 on Friday the 7th of February 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 9th of February 2014. Car Trawler was the cheapest when we checked, offering a Kia Picanto or similar at R385 for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
