Cape Town to Johannesburg travel prices
In this week's survey, we looked at the prices of travel from Cape Town to Johannesburg. The cheapest flight we found was offered by Mango Airlines at R823 for a one way flight. Passengers should opt to fly into Lanseria Airport as opposed to O.R. Tambo, as the flights to Lanseria across all airlines were cheapest when we checked (please note that all prices will change). Shosholoza Meyl continued to offer the most affordable rates for land travel with City to City offering the cheapest bus trip we found (prices will change). Car Trawler had the best rates for a weekend's car rental from OR Tambo Airport. Please note that prices could change.

Car Trawler cheapest car hire in Johannesburg
In this week's survey we compared the prices of car hire at OR Tambo Airport and found Car Trawler to offer the best rates for rental from 21h00 on Friday the 11th of October 2013 until 13h00 on Sunday the 13th of October 2013. A Kia Picanto or similar was R410 for the weekend's rental when we checked. Please note that prices may change.
