The Vodacom In The City music festival will be held on Friday the 4th of October 2013 at the Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown, Johannesburg. A number of international and South African bands will be playing on the evening of the festival including Alt-J, Skunk Anansie and The Hives. Pre paid tickets can be purchased for R360 or R500 will get you a ticket at the door.
Durban to Johannesburg prices
This week, we compared the travel prices of flights, buses and train trips from Durban to Johannesburg for the Vodacom In The City music festival. The cheapest flight on this route was once again offered by Mango with their Durban to Johannesburg flight at R595 for a one way trip when we checked (prices will change). The cheapest land trip was Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train and the cheapest bus trip was offered by City to City (prices will change). If you would like to get around during your weekend in Johannesburg, book cheap car rental with Car Trawler, whose rental prices were the cheapest offered with pick up and drop off at OR Tambo Airport.

Car Trawler is cheapest car hire in Johannesburg
In this week's survey we compared the car hire prices at OR Tambo Airport with pick up and drop off from 21h00 on Friday the 4th of October 2013 until 13h00 on Sunday the 6th of October 2013. Car Trawler was the cheapest when we checked, offering a Kia Picanto or similar at R411 for the weekend's rental when we checked. Please note that prices may change.
