Head to Hamilton's Rugby Club in Green Point for the largest beer festival in the Southern Hemisphere, the Cape Town Festival of Beer, where over 200 beers will be showcased. The festival will be held from the 25th til the 27th of November 2016.

DUR to CPT Travel

In this week's survey we compared the rates of travel from Durban to Cape Town for the Cape Town Festival of Beer. The cheapest option was offered by Shosholoza Meyl at R610 per person for the train trip via Johannesburg. if you prefer to travel by bus, have a look at Citiliner's prices as they were the cheapest when we checked at R620 per person. The cheapest car rental rates that we found were with Bidvest Car Rental. Please note that all prices could change.

Chevrolet Spark is cheapest car rental in Cape Town

This week we surveyed the prices of vehicle hire from Cape Town Airport with pick up at 21h00 on Friday the 25th of November 2016 and drop off at 13h00 on Sunday the 27th of November 2016. The cheapest option we found offered by Bidvest Car Rental at R486 for a Chevrolet Spark or similar for the weekend's rental. Please note that prices may change.
