Celebrate winter at the Winter in Calitzdorp festival from the 13th til the 14th of June 2015. Calitzdorp is known as the port capital of South Africa, and this festival will not disappoint port drinkers with free tastings, guided tours and fine dining evenings. Festival-goers can also enjoy culinary demonstrations, vintage tractor displays, live music, food markets, mountain bike races and a barn dance.

JHB to CPT Travel

In this survey of land travel prices from Johannesburg to Cape Town, Shosholoza Meyl offered the most affordable rates for travel at R400 per person for a one way trip in their economy class cabin (prices could change). For those who prefer to travel by coach, City to City was the cheapest option for bus travel when we checked at R530 per person (prices could change). To rent an economical Kia Picanto in Cape Town, Car Trawler offered the best rates. Please note that all prices will change.

Kia Picanto is cheapest car hire at Cape Town Airport

This week we compared the prices of car rental in Cape Town. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 12th of June 2015 until 13h00 on Sunday the 14th of June 2015. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R386 (Please note prices are subject to change).
