The popular Rocking the Daisies outdoor music festival will take place from the 2nd until the 5th of October 2014 at Cloof Wine Estate in Darling, just outside Cape Town. There will be loads of international and local bands and DJ's performing on 7 stages at the event. Tickets can be purchased from R200 per person.
This week, we compared the prices of travel from Johannesburg to Cape Town for Rocking the Daisies. The cheapest option was offered by Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train with a one way trip at R400 per person when we checked (prices will change). For a bus trip to Cape Town, passengers should have a look at City to City's prices as they were the cheapest at R600 for a one way trip per person (prices will change). If you would like to hire a car to get you to Darling for the festival, have a look at Car Trawler's rates as they were the cheapest when we checked. Please note that all prices may change.

This week we compared the prices of car hire in Cape Town. The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 3rd of October 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 5th of October 2014. Car Trawler offered a Kia Picanto or similar for this period at R422 (Please note prices are subject to change).
