International Polo Series Flights

The BMW International Polo Series event number 2 will take place on Sunday the 25th of August 2013 at the Waterfall Polo Park in Sunninghill, Johannesburg. In this year's event South Africa will play against Chile who will prove to be a tough opponent for the South African polo team. The gates to the park will open at 10am, with the test match starting at 14:30. General admission tickets will be on sale for R100 per adult (children under 12 are free) which will give spectators access to a great spot from where to watch the game and enjoy their own picnics if they wish.

Durban to Johannesburg prices

We compared the prices of flights, buses and trains from Durban to Johannesburg on Friday the 23rd of August 2013. The cheapest flight to Johannesburg was with Mango on their Friday evening flight at R640 per person when we checked (prices will change). We have found the bus and train prices to be very reasonable on this route, and this week's findings are no different. Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train continues to be the cheapest option on the Durban to Johannesburg route (prices will change). Car Trawler's Kia Picanto was R340 for a two day rental from OR Tambo Airport when we compared car hire prices. Please note that all prices could change.

Car Trawler is cheapest car rental at OR Tambo

In this week's survey we compared the car rental prices in Johannesburg with pick up and drop off from 21h00 on Friday the 23rd of August 2013 until 13h00 on Sunday the 25th of August 2013. Car Trawler was the cheapest when we checked, offering a Kia Picanto or similar at R340 for the weekend's rental when we checked. Please note that prices may change.
