Inyati Lodge Review
Overlooking the riverine vegetation of the Sand River in the Kruger National Park's Sabi Sands area, the Inyati Lodge is equidistant from Hoedspruit and Nelspruit, and offers the full big 5 experience. During the day hear the foreign accents of the German, Dutch, UK and American visitors; during the night listen to the howls of the jackals, the roarts of the lions and the laughs of the hyenas. Rise early for game drives to see the animals which tend to be out and about whilst it's still cool. Choose chalet 1 or 2, which arguably have the best views over the river and are closest to the main building (convenient and less scarey than those which are more remotely placed). Chalets include a bath, shower and hand basins. Keep the door of your chalet locked so that the wildlife stays out (especially monkeys).

Directions to Inayati
Inyati has an airstrip, so it is possible to charter a flight there with Federal Airlines. Alternatively, fly to Nelspruit or Hoedspruit (Inyati is equidistant to them), hire a car and drive (about 2.5 hours). If you're flying to JNB, it may just be quickest to just hire a vehicle in Johannesburg and drive the 6 hours to Inyati.
