An Orange People Preference
27 February 2014. Rating 5/5. We had just had a great holiday in Cape Town over December. So with heavy hearts we boarded our Mango flight back to Johannesburg on the 2nd January 2014. On reaching the top of the stairs I was greeted by the Pilot, asking me if I had a Happy New Year and he shook my hand. It was such a nice gesture I told him it had been my birthday on the 1st January. He then wished me Happy Birthday and all the best for 2014. I have never had that ever on any other aircraft. We have flown Mango for the last two years now and when I left one of the flights I whispered to the staff..............'I so prefer the Orange people to the Green people' they all laughed. Being a member of Discovery my husband and I find Mango flights so much more value for money. We are never left waiting on the runway as with the Green people. So even with their discounts and specials, there is nothing to compare to Mango. Our flight experiences have only been the best so far, and we only wish the Orange people flew internationally. The Pilots are always so informative and really pleasant on the flight along with all the other staff. My husband has been in business for a number of years now and always says you are running a great organisation. So for me the Orange people are the best......................that colour is a warm and friendly colour as in our South African sunsets................and it's what I feel when I fly Mango. You guys feel like family as you depict everything South African. Your adverts are great especially the one with the plane flying off into the sunset. Nanette Miranda
Greated & Seated by Wonderful Staff
20 February 2014. Rating 4.5/5. I flew Mango (of course) to Johannesburg for my matric reunion. I was offered the best service ever, and was greeted and seated by wonderful staff. I so enjoyed my flight- I flew in such wonderful comfort and enjoyed my window seat tremendously. I was a little heart sore leaving my daughter of 3 behind in Cape Town. Yet I knew with my quick trip and great service Mango offers I would'nt be away from her for long. I was offered great food, with tremendous prices! Great quality and reasonably priced. The air hostess' were such a delight as well. The Pilot spoke so well over the microphone system and I felt so comfortable and safe with his warm voice. He gave us an update on the weather in Johannesburg for that day. He was so friendly and funny. Cracking some jokes as well, which just put my mind at rest! By the time the plane had landed at Lanseria airport I was actually in dream land - Just proves how comfortable and content I was. I am so looking forward to the next time I fly which will be later this year with my daughter who has never flown before. Such an adventure. So excited. Off to my sisters wedding we go from Cape Town To Johannesburg. What a delight MANGO is. Kylie Wilford.
Excellent Rates
12 January 2014. Rating 5/5. Once again Mango has been a big part of our holiday. We concluded our holiday by flying Mango back to Johannesburg from Cape Town after enjoying a four day cruise aboard the MSC Sinfonia. Our children, Caleb aged 8 and Hannah-Claire aged 6, have been able to experience the pleasure of flying, all because of Mango's excellent rates as well as enjoying top-notch care in the capable hands of the flight attendants. The pilot's patience has lit a fire in the heart of my son and now, he also wants to be a pilot and fly the orange skies! Thank you, thank you! Charles and Diane, and children.
