20 Oct 2008. November is Mango's birthday month (their first flight, from Johannesburg to Cape Town, was on the 15th November 2006), and they are celebrating by cutting flight prices in the month of November 2008:
Leisure fares are 12.5% lower from 1 Nov to 30 Nov 2008 (except fares which already have a discount applied to them)
Mango Plus flights from the 20th Oct to 10th Dec 2008 are attracting a 10% discount.
I received Mango's email at 0558 on the 20th Oct, and checked whether the Mango flight I had looked at on the 18th Oct had changed price:

Interestingly, Mango's flight price has actually gone up since they announced the 12.5% deduction (although it must be admitted that even at R699 they would be cheapest).
Comparison of flight prices on the 14th November Johannesburg to Cape Town flights, departing from 1819 to 2036. For interest sake, I'm also illustrating how the prices have changed since the 18th Oct 2008.

Interesting how much flight prices change over a 2 day period! Mango & Kulula's flight prices have gone up, 1time's have stayed where they are and SAA & BA's flight prices have gone down.
