Since the 19th April 2012 Korongo Airlines has been flying direct from Johannesburg to Lubumbashi (FBM). Korongo Airlines is a joint venture between George Forrest International & Brussels Airlines. To book a cheap flight with Korongo Airlines:

Korongo Airlines flight ZC124 is scheduled to leave OR Tambo International Airport on Mondays and Fridays at 11h35, and land in Lubumbashi at 14h10. From 16 September 2013 there's a seasonal change where the Sunday flights ZC124 also leaves at 11h35 (previously took off from OR Tambo at 20h30 and landed in Lubumbashi at 22h50).
