Ask for Help - our travel agents are itching to show you the tandem paragliding deals
Paragliding is the 2nd most fun thing to do in South Africa, and mustn't be missed :) You don't need any training, just enjoy a tandem paragliding experience with a trained professional guiding you. The best spots to go paragliding are in Cape Town and on the Garden Route.
Cape Town tandem paragliding flights are usually from Signal Hill or Lions Head, providing spectacular vistas of the city and Table Mountain.
Garden route paragliding flights are from Sedgefield, Wilderness/Map of Africa, Wilderness/Beach Hotel or Kleinkrants/Paradise Ridge. There is no paragliding in May, June or July; as the weather is too inconsistent. There are options for longer flights, motorised paragliding (which is popular for landscape photography & viewing marine wildlife), inflight photos and video footage is an optional extra.
