Cape Town International Kite Festival |

The International Kite Festival is being held from the 23rd to the 24th October 2010 in Muizenberg (Cape Town). This is Africa's biggest kite festival and attracts over 20,000 visitors (including this article's author), with some of the biggest names in kiting in South Africa and the world who fly in to show off their kite creations. With kite-making, kite-flying, food stalls, kiddies' rides, a full programme of entertainment and an eclectic craft market, this is family entertainment at its best.
Cheap car hire during the International Kite Festival
You can hire a car in Cape Town for the Festival from R152/day. Here's a comparison of the cost of hiring a car from Cape Town Airport from 13h00 on the 22nd until 13h00 on the 25th October 2010 (note that car rental prices may have changed since we conducted this comparison, and that there are factors other than price that you should take into account; like free km and, charge per km and waivers) :
