Tempest Sixt April salesI just received Tempest Sixt's April 2008 newsletter. They're clearly cosying up to Mango Airlines. Just 2 days ago Mango sent out their newsletter advertising Tempest Sixt car hire specials (and Southern Sun specials - their other partner).
Mango's Tempest Sixt advert was pretty appealing - if you had booked a Mango flight and could produce your flight reference, you could hire a Tempest Sixt car for the weekend for R145 a day.
Tempest Sixt's own advertising was not as enticing as Mango's - they only offered from R145 a day: "Unlimited mileage rates from R229/day or if you fancy just bopping and hopping around town, then grab a Group J VW Chico with 100kms free per day from only R189/day. Weekend deals will lighten your travel budget and help you save with rates from only R185/day for a Group B Toyota Corolla or similar."
This proves something important - that you are getting a real value deal by booking your Tempest Sixt car rental through Mango Airlines.
Tempest Sixt are offering Group E busses which can carry up to 8 passengers at R500/day at coastal locations (KwaZulu-Natal, the Western Cape or Eastern Cape - what about Northern Cape?), Offer is subject to availability and terms and conditions do apply.
Book online during April with Tempest Sixt and you get automatically entered into a prize draw, to stand to win a weekend getaway for 2 to any destination Mango airlines flies to, two days of car rental in a Group B Tempest vehicle, accommodation at a Southern Sun hotel for 2 nights AND a R1000 spending money. Terms and conditions apply.
Fly with Mango Plus in May (Mango Airlines upgraded flights), and you stand to win a year's worth of Mango flights. Book at www.flymango.com
Airport transfers with Tempest Transfers are from R176 per trip.
Tempest are hiring out GPS units from R49 a day.
