FlyCemair (www.flycemair.co.za) started flying between Johannesburg and Bloemfontein from the 2nd of March 2015. They are now competing with SA Express and SA Airlink on this route. The airline operates 12 return flights a week between JNB and BFN. The flights are operated by a 50 seat Bombardier CRJ jet. There are two daily flights on weekdays and one flight a day over the weekend. During the week flights depart Johannesburg at 06h30 and 14h30, arriving at 07h25 and 15h25 respectively. Weekend flights depart at 13h30 and arrive at 14h25 in Bloemfontein. Weekday flights from Bloemfontein to Johannesburg depart at 08h00 and 16h00, arriving at 08h55 and 16h55 respectively. During the weekend flights depart Bloemfontein at 15h00, arriving at 15h55 in Johannesburg.

FlyCemair operates largely on coastal routes. They fly customers into smaller coastal towns on aircraft that carriers a 19 - 50 passengers. The airline flights between JNB and Plettenberg Bay 4 times a week, between CPT and Plettenberg Bay twice a week. The airline also operates flights between JNB and Margate as well as JNB and Sishen Kathu. The airline has sponsored flights for 2 to Margate for towards this prize.
