American musician Sixto Rodriguez's success story reads somewhat like a movie, probably the reason they decided to create the documentary Searching for Sugar Man based on his life. In case you aren't familiar with his story, Rodriguez only found moderate fame in the 1970's when he recorded two folk music albums and subsequently quit his musical career. Meanwhile unknown to him, his songs struck a cord with South African freedom fighters resulting in several number one hits.

Largely thought to have committed suicide, South African fans enjoyed songs from his two albums released in the 70's until the late nineties when a fan tracked him down and dispelled the suicide theories. Rodriguez has since then released new tracks and toured South Africa and Australia multiple times.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to see a living legend on the 27th of January 2016 at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg. Flights listed below depart the previous Friday, the 22nd of January 2016.
