A highlight on any jazz-lover’s calendar, the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz festival is taking place from the 25th to the 27th of September in Johannesburg. This year’s impressive line-up includes both top international and South African artists. Jazz celebrities like Billy Ocean, Dianne Reeves, Sibongile Khumalo Delfeayo Marsalis, and Jonas Gwangwa will be performing at the new-look concert in the Sandton Convention Centre. Tickets are available from Computicket. A one day pass is available from R750 and a two-day pass from R1250.

Our survey this week has been done on flight prices from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Flights with Mango to Johannesburg were the cheapest to Lanseria airport. Flights to OR Tambo with both Mango and Kulula was much more expensive than flights on the same airlines to Lanseria airport. We found the cheapest flight to Lanseria, Johannesburg on Mango airlines. You should move quickly to take advantage of these affordable airfares while they last!
