Visit southern Africa, take a lot of photos, do an entertaining write-up with a different spin; and that's the recipe to be chosen as blog of the week; and that's what Windycitydiver (from Chicago) did. His/her South African trip included visiting Durban, Aliwal Shoal, Cape Town and its Vineyards area. Their Durban accommodation was none other than the Hilton Hotel, where they indulged in massages, facials, and relaxing by the pool (I'm sure Durban tourism officials wont be happy to hear their view that "Durban doesn’t have a whole lot to see"). One fun thing with the Hilton is that they discovered that items in the mini-bar were cheaper than in the restaurant! Other things in Durban they saw were Wilson’s Wharf and the Sun Coast Casino and Boardwalk.
